GBC was selected as the CM/GC Contractor for the 4J sports field multi-site project that included the new Sheldon softball field and batting facility with locker rooms/restrooms, the Churchill women’s team locker room renovations and South Eugene Softball dugouts and batting and locker room/restroom facilities.

PeaceHealth Riverbend Neuro Cath Lab
The PeaceHealth Riverbend Neuro Cath Lab was the fourth in a series of five Cath Lab Renovation projects for Riverbend. which included a full room renovation, equipment upgrade and upgraded MEP systems.
WUHS Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy School
GBC completed this 9-month fast-track interior renovation of a 46,000sf former furniture store, for Western University of Health Sciences (WUHS). The interior of the building was demolished, seismically upgraded and renovated to expand WUHS’s campus and house the School of Physical Therapy and Occupational Therapy, including a complete Physical and Occupational Therapy treatment clinic, classrooms, skills labs, offices, student lounge and study areas. A new roof was installed on the CMU portion of the building, and a new power service was brought in. GBC worked with WUHS and the City of Lebanon to break the project up into three phases in order to turn over areas of the building for offices, storage and classes to meet critical dates when staff and students would be on site.
Sheldon Pool
GBC built a new activity pool, hydrotherapy spa, as well as a new natatorium for the activity pool, and completely renovated the existing locker rooms to help the City of Eugene’s Sheldon Pool expand and better serve the community. In addition GBC added a significant solar array to the top of the building to keep the building green while the water stays warm and crystal clear.
Oregon State University Burt Hall
GBC began working with OSU as the abatement of Burt Hall was wrapping up to investigate and provide constructibility and cost estimating for the re-build of the interior spaces. This process included working with the design team to look at new systems and evaluate building infrastructure capacities.
Western Oregon University Welcome Center
The conversion of the WOU Welcome Center consisted of a new two-story lobby, heavy mechanical, plumbing, electrical, building controls, data, and audio visual upgrades as well as all new fire life safety systems and new fire sprinkler systems throughout the building. All new ADA upgrades for exterior access as well as all new restroom configurations for ADA compliance. Coordination of building access for faculty and students as well as outside vendors for the print and mail departments remained a top priority ensuring student and staff safety.
